Between some bouldering warmups, we rehearsed transition from climb to rappel, including rappel on a Munter hitch for emergency situations.

The next hour was spent learning knots and techniques related to transferring loads reversibly -- at the end every person did a full "escape the belay" sequence with a full body weight on the end of the rope, and then resumed the belay on a fixed anchor.

Peggy and Ben set up a treadmill for a caving ascending system and demoed it.
