MattStillerman will be going ice skating at the rink in Lansing from 7-9 p.m. Rayko will lead Telemark skiing at Greek Peak departing Japes at 10 a.m., cars needed David will be leading X-C skiing at the golf course , meet at Japes at 2 p.m.

ALL OF FALL BREAK: Backpacking trip in the Great Smoky Mountains with Sourish and Maxim. Contact for more information -- more cars needed to accomodate more participants. KyleStory (kts8) invites self-sufficient non-beginner climbers to join a fall break trip to the Red River Gorge in Kentucky over break. Email for more information. Ben and Peggy will be going caving in Kentucky and then joining the climbing trip (they are in different ends of Kentucky). DonBarry^? will be joining the Red River Gorge climbers for the latter half of the week, probably leaving Wednesday, and is willing to accomodate more introductory level people. Tuesday, 07 October Post-meeting Presentation Mark Wysocki, a New York State Climatologist, of the Northease Regional Climate Center has generously agreed to give a presentation on Tuesday the 7th about our region's weather and New York State climate.
