Any member can organize a trip, subject to criteria defined by club chairs in the various activities. Any member can participate in a club trip, up to the limit defined by the organizer of the trip and the criteria defined by the trip leader. Trips are organized at all levels of expertise from beginner to expert. One becomes proficient through practice with one's peers. Our goal is to help every club member learn from each other. We sponsor trips involving backpacking, rock and ice climbing, telemark, XC, and downhill skiing, summer and winter mountaineering, flat and white-water kayaking and canoeing, field wildlife and plant identification, caving, mountain and road cycling, and any other activity involving exploration and appreciation of the natural world we live in. |
