*** Upcoming trips
Climbing
* Jessica (jhh28) and Melissa really want to go climbing this weekend
  (Sunday and Monday). They can go up Saturday night, and have cars.
* Brendan (bsk25) is climbing trees in Philadelphia this weekend. He
  cannot provide transportation down to Philadelphia, but if you
  happen to be down there, you can join him.
* Dave Katz is leading a tree climbing trip in Binghamton this
  weekend. We will need a trip leader from Cornell if we are to join
  this trip. This would be a beginner trip. Jason (jm349) is
  coordinating.
* Don (don@isc.astro.cornell.edu) wants to gauge Fall Break interest
  for a trip to Rumney, a climbing area. He will be able to go Sunday
  to Tuesday. There are multiple cars leaving at different times. Not
  for beginners.  E-mail him for information. 
Wheels
* Alan (ashieh@cs.cornell.edu) would like to go mountain biking some
  time this weekend. Space for 2 bikes, more if you can provide a
  Thule tray.
Paddling
* Don (don@isc.astro.cornell.edu) wants to lead a canoe trip the
  weekend after fall break (~October 15/16) to check out the fall
  foliage.
* Aaron (ajb83) wants to lead a lazy canoeing trip in the Adirondacks
  this weekend, and has a car.
Hiking
* Jason (jm349) might do a local hike on Saturday, weather-depending.

* NCC is purchasing Pompey's cave.
* Matt (matt@clarityconnect.com) needs educational programs.
* Fall foliage report: High peaks are now nearing the peak. Autumn is
  running late this year...
* Northeast Caving Organization is having a cave rescue class on
  October 15-126 ($40)
* Premeeting paddling is done for the semester. We will switch over to
  pool sessions.
* The driveway down to Japes will be closed for 2 weeks. Please keep
  this in mind when planning trips.
* Marcus (mdc24) is selling a Riot 007 playboat.

*** Trips past
* Brendan, Bob, Gill, and Brian did premeeting paddling.
* Brendan, Gill, Daniel, and Scott wanted to surf at watertown, but
  Rt 3 was washed out by the water level. They surfed at Hole Bros
  instead. Video is forthcoming.
* Brendan unicycled poloed against bicyclists at Cass Park.
* Katie et al toproped at Peterskill.
* Sarah day hiked at 6 Mile Creek Gorge
* Sarah waterskiied at Cayuga Lake
* Don et al went on a trip to Little Falls. There were four topropes.
* Kara led a beginner caving trip at Clarksville & Schoharie.
