• John P & Jess went to Mt. Hunter in the Catskills
• John K (2) et al canoed on Sunday in Lake Lamoka, near Lake Keuka
• Ari, Rima, Zay, and Leslie ax throwed, archeried at Renaissance Faire
• Critical mass happened on Friday. 80 circus-themed bikers
• Brad & friends hiked Dick's Peak (27.5 mi) in California, near Lake Tahoe.

Trails

• John (jmp72) is down with trail running this weekend. Only one fast group this week.

Paddling

• Beth (bak34) is going to the Black River, then up to Canada. Class III-IV whitewater experience required. August 21
• Simeon (simeon@cs.cornell.edu) is going to do flatwater in the Adirondacks. August 13-14

Climbing

• Leslie (lackerman@alternatives.org) wants to go climbing this weekend in the Adirondacks. She's leaving from Cooperstown; e-mail her to coordinate.
• Jason (jm349) is going to Little Falls on Sunday. Trip is capped at 5.
