Minutes for July 3, 2007

Announcements:

• Gear night: Matt will be holding from 6-7 pm on Thursday for club trips going out for the weekend
• International Jazz festival in Montreal until the 10th?
• Matt is looking for people who would like to host a program at outing club. Would you lie to share an outdoors skill or adventure with the club, do you have a topic you'd like to see presented? email ( mstillerman@gmail.com)
• Herdis Schopka for showing your slides from your hut-to-hut mountain biking trip to Colorado and Utah.

Trips that were:

• Kayko went climbing in the Gunks
• John went biking on fri/sat
• Kara, Rima, Mandy and many others went biking to cherry picking
• Kara went caving
• Premeeting paddlers got out on the lake
• Adil went trail running up 6-mile creek

Trips that will be:

• Greg would like to bike around Cayuga lake and is looking for advise and other bikers, plan for 1 or 2 overnights camping. (gdm26)
• Armanda would like to go kayaking on Cayuga lake --> needs help/cars if people are interested. She'd also be interested in biking to go cherry picking ( car4j@virgina.edu)
• Matt would like to day hike either sat or sun in the area (mstillerman@gmail.com)
• Nick would like anyone considering the boundary waters canoe area trip in northern Minnesota around August 15th to email him in the next week so he can make plans and get permits ( nick.haupt@gmail.com)
