• Adirondack Paddlefest 2007 at Old Forge May 18th - 20th, email ane23@cornell.edu if you want to go

• Memorial Day General Clinton Canoe Race: 70 Miles, 13 hrs, chicken dinner. Email AriEpstein (ate2) for more information, or to join in on training

Trips that were

• DonBarry^? took 14 people to the Hartung-Boothroyd Observatory on Mount Pleasant on Saturday night. It was a bit chilly, but a chance to see Saturn and play with Don’s super laser-pointer made it well worth it.

• LeslieAckerman went climbing: on Saturday she went to Deer Pass to scout an enormous cliff and put up some new routes, on Sunday she climbed at Poko

• DanDavis, Barry, and NenaVandebroek went paddling on Sunday to Hole Brothers on the Black River. Lots of rolling practice there!

• Sourish went biking on Sunday

• BradLipovsky went hiking over the weekend

Trips that will be

• DanDavis is paddling to the Farmer’s Market this weekend, probably on Sunday (did4)

• MattStillerman is leading a group to a Finger Lakes Land Trust preserve to clear out invasive species. A group will be meeting at Japes at 9:15 am on Saturday morning. Email Matt (mstillerman@gmail.com) if you're interested, so he can arrange for transportation.

• AriEpstein will be leading a beginner canoe trip on Sunday (ate2)

• JimJanney wants to go to Shindagin tomorrow (Wednesday) at 11:00 am (jgj5)

• KaraPivarski and others will be going to Spring NRO on May 18th (klp37)

• DonBarry^? will be leading a 1-day beginner climbing trip to Little Falls on Sunday at 9:00 am. No experience necessary! (djb49)
