Gear Night: LeslieAckerman, 6-7p.m. at Japes for checkout of gear for weekend club trips

Announcements

• Leslie will be doing backpacking gear sorting at and after gear night. If anyone would like to help, show up then

• We are having a big presentation on April 24th in McGraw^? 165 instead of our normal meeting. It will be about Bob Marshal

• Talk to Ari (ate2@cornell.edu) if you want to help with publicity for the Bob Marshal talk

• First Annual Spring Gear sale & Japes Open House Friday 20th 4-8PM and Sat 21st 10-1PM. The club will be selling some gear, and members can sell gear. Tell people, and come buy gear, or just hang out at japes and go boating.

• Officer & Chair nominations and interest, contact JimJanney (jgj5@cornell.edu) Elections and chair selection will be May 1st

Trips that were

• KaraPivarski led a trip to the farmer's market

• JimJanney went paddling in the Dak's on Saturday, ice made things a little interesting

Trips that will be

• DonBarry^? (djb49) will hold a technical ropes session at his house on Thursday from 6 p.m. onwards

• Ben & Peggy (mer56@cornell.edu) want to go caving Saturday or Sunday

• Weather permitting, AriEpstein (ate2@cornell.edu) may lead a novice canoing trip on a local river (on the less rainy of Sat or Sun)
