• GEAR NIGHT: Get gear for weekend trips on Thursday. KaraPivarski will open Japes from 5-6 p.m.

Announcements

• Premeeting paddling has started, come paddle Tuesdays 5:30-6:30

• Farmer's market opens on Sat 9-3 behind Aldi's

• Cornell Outing Club Spring Gear sale, Friday afternoon 4-8 p.m. April 20th, continuing the following Saturday from 10a.m. to 1 p.m. Come enjoy our open house, paddle canoes on Beebe Lake, enjoy tall tales and hot beverages in the comfort of Japes, and bring any extra gear you've been wanting to sell. We ask for a 20% cut on the honor system to fundraise for the club and for Japes improvements.

• Soliciting nominations for officers for the next three weeks. Positions: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary. President and Treasurer must be undergrads. Send email to Jim (jgj5@cornell.edu) with nominations

• April 24th we will have a special program instead of our meeting: Presentation at 165 McGraw, Phil Brown will talk on Bob Marshall, one of the first people to promote preservation the wilderness.

• Presentation next week: Rayko & Leslie - pictures from an Ice climbing trip

• Leslie went skiing in Switzerland with Annegrette and Stefan

• Don, Tom & 3 others climbed trees on Saturday

• Rima, Sarah, Ari, and Nick backpacked on the Finger Lakes Trail

• Six went to the Hartung-Boothroyd Observatory Thursday night to look at stars

• Matt, Jack, and Jake hiked at Hammond Hill

• Rayko, Luke, Ben, Alex, and Jennifer went climbing at the Gunks

Trips that will be

• Kara (klp37@cornell.edu) will lead a trip to the Farmers Market this Saturday by some weather dependent outdoorsy means of transportation
