Simeon Warner, David Lyons, Jim Goetz, Leslie Ackerman. First trip of 2004 since 15 May opening so we had to check and clear Ack's shack. Turned out that the crawlway looked as if it had seen very little water since last year and was not significantly disturbed/silted. Decided to take a look upstream from the junction. Went to the far NE corner of the cave via the unstable "hanging death" of the old Mc Fail's Hole entrance and past the Barracuda passage. Found two garter snakes at the bottom of the pit and gave them a ride out in my camera box. ~3h trip.

Simeon Warner, David Lyons, Jim Goetz, Leslie Ackerman, Stephane Guignard. Rained hard over night so the Hall's Hole entrance was near the maximum 1" depth permissible. Also, plenty of clouds warning of possible thunderstorms. Decided to change plans to a tourist trip down to sump 1 to show a French visitor the cave (Stephane Guignard). Stephane was certainly fast and efficient in the cave and we had a fun trip with a good soaking going down and up Coeyman's dome (though that flow level was nowhere near being a problem). Turned out that it was sunny and almost cloud free when we exited, the thunderstorms happened several hours later. ~4.5h trip.
