Owasco River Kayaking, Oct 22, 2011
Mike, Deb, John, Angela, and Peter paddled Owasco River today, which is located relatively close to Cornell (45 minutes of driving)-

The weather was nice, scenery awesome, and flow level fabulous.
We were running it for the first time to see if it is ideal as a beginner river -
rapid-wise, yes, but potential-hazard-wise, no, unfortunately.
It was a calm, gentle, yet lovely morning spent on the river.
Bad-omen beverage (sunk ship - guess what the beverage was?) was consumed at the end of the trip.
