Facts: Low level release of 400cfs, a bit scrapy but not a problem.
Story: In a fit of organization Brendan and Beth got us all to show up on Friday evening to pack gear and load boats onto the cars. Some crazy 7am start time which we pretty much all made (ish). But then, the finest of plans can be scuppered by Scandanavian engineering: Emilie's Saab decided to stop working in Cortland which delayed us for a while as we got a tow, swicthed cars, ate a second breakfast etc. Beyond that the journey was uneventful (I81 to exit 36, Pulaski, rt13 E for a few miles, turn L (N) on rt2A to the parking lot just over the bridge).
On the river around noon (!) and a lovely paddle on a lovely day. We played on every little wave on the way down and much fun was had by all. A few uneventful swims and no damage done. At this level nothing on the river is very big or troublesome, the whitewater beginners had a fine time. Got off the river about 5pm.
