Tom Zajicek, Vertical Access

Tom is a former COE climbing instructor and COC member. He now works for Vertical Access, a local company that climbs man-made structures (e.g. buildings, bridges, steeples) to inspect them.

Tom will tell us about his experiences in industrial climbing. He will bring examples of the gear used, and will discuss the different techniques used to climb man-made structures.

Tom is still a very active rock/ice/mountain climber. Later in the year he will give a presentation on his recent trip to the Kirgiz Republic.
