Fall 2006 Introductory Trips for New Members

• DonBarry^? will host climbing sessions on the artificial rock wall^? at his house after most Tuesday meetings (including the intro meeting) and at select other times. These are great sessions to get tips from other climbers and develop skills and strength before testing yourself on real rock.

• CocTrip2006Sep7Paddling - JimJanney will lead a beginner paddling session this Thurs. from 5 til we get tired on Beebe Lake focusing on techniques necessary for whitewater. jgj5

• CocTrip2006Sep9Hiking - MattStillerman will lead a local hike, likely to Connecticut Hill, this Saturday leaving Japes at 9:30. Bring food and water. matt@clarityconnect.com

• CocTrip2006Sep9Climbing - Jeanine/Rayko will lead a beginner climbing trip to the gunks this weekend dependent on weather, leaving sat. morning and returning sunday evening. jm399

• RaykoHalitschke will lead another beginner/learn to lead climbing trip later in September dependent on interest and weather. rh239

• CocTrip2006Sep10Biking - KarimehShamieh will lead a beginner road biking trip to Keuka Lake Peninsula this Sunday weather pending. Bring food and water, and a repair kit if possible. ks382

• CocTrip2006Sep16Hiking - JimJanney and Zack Schildhorn will lead a beginner backpacking trip to the Lake Colden area Sept 16-17 or 23-24 dependent on weather. jgj5

• DanDavis, AriEpstein, and JimJanney will lead premeeting paddling 5:30-7:30 on Beebe Lake every Tuesday until it gets too cold meeting at Japes. No experience necessary, just bring a towel and a swimsuit. Don't email, just show up.
