CU Across America

A group of 6 undergraduates gathered on campus at the clock tower last June and took off for a looooong bike ride. Hoping to raise money for Livestrong's Cancer Foundation, and see new parts of the US, the group set of down College Ave and kept rolling until hitting the West coast. Averaging about 50 miles a day they headed toward San Fransisco passing through PA, OH, IN, IL, WI, IO, SD, WY, NV, CA. The group was largely self-sufficient packing tents, cooking gear, and plenty of bike repair odds and ends. Using a mix of camping sites, the spare rooms of friends and relatives, and the yards and basements of friendly strangers, the group woke up each morning in a new city. Passing by Niagra Falls, Mount Rushmore, the Rocky Mountains, and Lake Tahoe, the group did lots of sightseeing and took tons of photos along the way! Drop by Tuesday, April 5th to hear about their travels!

Below is the group's blog, constructed by three of the group's six members.
